Princess Da Prada, the younger sister to former Big Brother Naija season 5 Lockdown star Prince Nelson Enwerem has called out popular influencer and socialite Raheem Abike Halimah aka Papaya_Ex over failed Instagram promo deal.
Princess who shared her grievance via her Snapchat page on Monday, January 9 (Papaya’s birthday) notes that Papaya has refused to run the promotion she (Princess) paid for, which was supposed to be done on Papaya’s page.
According to Princess, she has requested that Papaya refunds her the money she paid her for the advertisement, but Papaya has since been ignoring her messages.
Princess wrote, “Firstly If you know me you’ll know I am not one to do things for social media validation neither am I one to seek attention because when things like this surface, next language you’ll hear is “She’s a clout chaser.
“Well if that English will make you feel ok with yourself then suit yourself. Nigeria is very tough and we are all surviving it in our own little ways, if you’re a business owner in Lagos you’ll testify to how difficult it is and has been to run a business in Lagos let alone if you are a shop owner.
“So many bills to pay and then you’ll have to do a lot of advert and publicity just to make earns meet so I don’t expect us to be our own problem rather let us help each other survive instead of robbing Peter to pay Paul.
“We all need each other to survive, that’s why a brand will need content creators, influencers, staff members and co because you can’t do it all by yourself.
“I own a unisex Salon in Lekki phase 1 and y’all know the level of competition in the beauty Industry, you have to be patient and endearing to break even if not you’ll shut down no cap.
“So tell me why in all these struggles I’ll pay someone who says she’s an influencer for an advert and the person didn’t deliver and also have refused to refund.
“Instead she resorted to insults and ignoring me on top of my money that I paid her, and the thing that irks me the most is when people say things like “how much is it sef” well if it’s that small you shouldn’t be asking people to pay you that.
“If you are bigger than something then don’t take it, don’t even make noise about it, just refund it and move on instead you’re still with the small money in your bank acct and claiming to be bigger than life, this mentality has ruined a lot of people.
“So @bigpapsss as today is your birthday I’m guessing you’re supposed to be happy and enjoying life in your paradise meanwhile somewhere out there someone is sad about how you have reaped them off their hard work.
“If truly you are who you say you are Kindly and gently refund me back my chicken change and be at peace with yourself or you can also do as you please and eat the money but remember whatsoever a man sows he shall reap “I REST MY CASE”.
“My birthday wish for you @bigpapsss is that you pay me back my money and stop reaping people and bullying them because you think you have audience.”

Moreso, Princess shared some screenshots showing the direct chats she had with Papaya, and how Papaya responded to her.
Date shows that the deal was sealed in November 28, 2022, with Papaya agreeing to handle the promo job for Princess, as agreed.

Here’s a screenshot showing that Princess transferred ₦25,000 to Papaya on December 6, 2022, as she asked Papaya to confirm the payment, but she (Papaya) refused to make confirmation.

Then, on December 12, Papaya responded claiming that she thought the advertisement has been posted on her page, but Princess tried to let her know that no advert was posted on her page.

Days after Papaya’s response, Princess kept on reminding her that she’s yet to post her advertisement on her page. However, Papaya has insisted that she posted Princess advert already, asking Princess if she paid for more than one promo slot.

Papaya, on another response affronted Princess, as she insinuates that ₦25,000 is too small amount of money compared to how Princess has been pressuring her. Besides, Princess insists on getting a refund.
