Former Big Brother Naija season 3 Pepper Dem star and winner Mercy Chinenyenwa Eke has responded to her senior colleague Cynthia Nwadiora, aka Cee C after the later threw a subtle shade at the former for lying about her age.
Recall that few days ago, reports made the rounds on the Internet that Mercy’s real age isn’t 29 as she claimed during her last birthday in 2022.
After Mercy posted a screenshot of her Permanent Voter’s Card, PVC on twitter, advising her fans to get theirs before the February’s general election, some Internet FBIs searched for her details on the INEC website.
Following the investigation, the Internet users saw that Mercy’s PVC details leaves her age at 32. This also says a lot about the extent at which some female celebrities go to lie about their real age.
However, Cee C, on making a random post on her Instagram page, indirectly shaded Mercy Eke. Cee C stated, “My pretty girl era! It’s like I will reduce my age o, 30yrs no just fit me”.
On sighting Cee C’s post, Mercy Eke took to her own Instagram page, to make her own random post, as she replies Cee C.
Mercy Eke wrote, “I love people who throw shades behind my back, that’s exactly where they belong, behind my back”.
Some reactions have been shared about this, as Cee C’s supporters claim she wasn’t referring to or shading Mercy Eke.
