• This lady identified as Baby C alleged that Eric, through one fake MultiChoice staff scammed her of ₦5.3 million after she desperately asked for a slot in the BBNaija Level Up show.
A certain Nigerian lady has accused BBNaija Lockdown Housemate and reality television star Eric Akhigbe simply known as Eric of scamming her of ₦5.3 million naira.
According to the lady, Eric promised to give her the contact of someone from Big Brother Naija organisers MultiChoice, which he did, but turns out Eric and the ‘fake’ MultiChoice staff scammed her.
In a post made by the lady via her Tiktok page where she’s identified with the username name @babyc.worldwide and a profile name Baby C, she vows to expose Eric.
She stated that she takes Eric as her brother and didn’t believe he could scam her this way.
And looking through the lady’s comment section where she reveals some of the WhatsApp chats between her, Eric and the MultiChoice agent ValidUpdates observed that the transaction was made in February and March this year.
First part of the screenshot shows the moment she contacted Eric about her desire to partake in BBNaija Level Up show. And Eric sent her a contact of one Mr Nathaniel whom Eric alleged in the chat works with MultiChoice.
On contacting the Nathaniel, the chat shows that Baby C was told to pay ₦5.3 million in order to get selected as one of the Housemates in the Level Up show. Still on the chat, Baby C sent ₦2.5 million on two occasions, and ₦300,000 on another occasion as the charge for the slot.
However, when the show started and ended, Baby C got no invitation from MultiChoice … she decides to chat Eric up on WhatsApp again and according to the chat, Baby C vows to expose Eric if he and his co-scammer Nathaniel didn’t refund her money.
Baby C further alleged that Eric used her money to relocate to the United Kingdom, where he has being since after their conversation about the BBNaija slot.
