• From opening up to Boma that she doesn’t want to get involved in relationship, to expressing that she’s clingy and can loose focus when involved in relationship, Queen still wonder why Boma spread lies against her.

Former Big Brother Naija season 6 Shine Ya Eye star, Queen Mercy Atang has finally opened up on why she thinks Boma wanted to tarnish her image in the House, plus how he formed the slang, ‘Okro’ to use it as strategy against her.

During the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye Reunion Day 4, (Episode 4) Queen was seen telling Ebuka that after she and Boma concluded that they’re not getting involved in any relationship, he went about gossiping that Queen was forcing herself on him.

According to Queen, this Boma’s attitude started after he met her and said he wants them to always chill and vibe together, since she’s not disposed for a relationship. So, while they were at it, Boma had already started going about telling people that Queen was forcing herself on him.

Also, after co-housemates applauded Boma one Sunday, when he responded to Ebuka’s question with the slang, ‘Okro’, Queen pinpointed that she understood from that day that Boma was using her as strategy.

Queen said, “Boma there was no time in the House I said I wanted to date you. I never for one day say I wanted to date him. He never for one day said Queen I wanted to date you.

“I had no idea. I came out of the House and watched clips how he was gossiping that I’m forcing myself on him. I have never ever forced myself on Boma.

“When we had that conversation, he literally said, ‘Queen let us chill and vibe together’. He was saying things about me in the House.

“When whatever happened one Sunday, it was from JMK that I understood that he was only telling them that I was forcing myself on him. (Camera, on showing JMK, captured her expressing denial).

“And I had no idea. If I didn’t have that talk with JMK, I wouldn’t have known he was telling the Housemates that I was forcing myself on him.

“Boma, there was never a time I ever forced myself on you in Biggie’s House. You told me, let’s chill and vibe together in the House. And innocently, I was just giving you that vibe, chilling with you in the House. But you were going around telling the Housemates that I was forcing myself on you. Why would you do that?

“I was the one that told you that I was clingy. Why would you say that? Do you think you’re all that? I was relating with a lot of people in the House and I said it, I was open about it. I wasn’t forcing myself on you.

“Ebuka this boy tried to literally tarnish my image in the House. I came to Biggie’s House a lot of people see me as desperate, a lot of people see me that I came to Biggie’s House to look for man, because of the way he was able to structure this thing out there.

“And I was innocent in the House, without knowing the gist that he was going around spreading to people. That I was forcing myself on him.

“He was literally trying to convince me to chill and vibe with him, and I told him, I don’t want a relationship. If I’m in a relationship I’ll loose focus. I will start being so clingy. I said the word clingy. He did not discover it.”

Boma, while sharing his own side of story, after Ebuka asked him if there’s anything he wants to say, he said, “Yeah, she said she was there. I was only playing around with people that were like, if we’re on a cruise level, we’re all on cruise level. I kept saying it, I’m not here to do anything serious, everyone knows that.

“The name Okro came from me saying, ‘Oh I’m an Okro, this this that, nobody should come close to me’.” As Boma mentioned Okro, Queen returns immediately to respond and she said, “The name Okro. I understood what Okro meant when Ebuka literally spoke to you one Sunday and and you said Okro, and the whole Housemates clapped for you. That was when I understood what Okro meant.

“That’s when I knew he was using me as a strategy. I literally did not understand what Okro meant”. Camera, showing Ebuka’s expression, he reacted and said he didn’t know anything about it and Queen continued, “No not you Ebuka. I mean when you asked him some questions and he said…,” Ebuka comes again, saying, “Okay the way he answered it”. Queen added, “Yes, people started clapping for him. Okro! Okro! That was when I understood what Okro meant.

“From that Sunday, I told myself, Queen, stay away from this guy. Don’t ever go close to him ever again”.
