
The Big Brother Naija season 6 Shine Ya Eye Reunion show has kicked off, with its Day 1 topic aired on Thursday night, June 2, 2022.
All the 26 ex-housemates, Whitemoney, Liquorose, Pere, Arin, Nini, Saga, Saskay, Angel, Emmanuel, Tega, Niyi, Yousef, Princess, Sammie, Beatrice, Maria, Cross, Queen, Yerins, Kayvee, Peace, Michael, JMK, Jaypaul, Jackie B, and Boma were each introduced into the studio by the exceptional anchor and host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Meanwhile, Niyi was declared absent by Ebuka, who announced that as a result of sickness, the ex-Shine Ya Eye male Housemate was unable to join his colleagues in the studio. Ebuka wishes him quick recovery, as he prays for his recuperation.
Starting off the night, Ebuka asked few of the ex-housemates what they brought to the Reunion show and what viewers are likely to expect, and they all assured him of drama, cruise and definitely reconciliation.
Coming to Michael, Ebuka stated that everyone saw what happened between Whitemoney and his initial love interest, Jackie B, when Michael got evicted.
And making reference to the point when Michael left the House and watched what happened from outside, he replied that Whitemoney is his guy and as such, has a good taste, and he didn’t try to take any offense with what went down between them.
Expressing what he thought about Whitemoney and Jackie B situation, Michael said, “You know, (Whitemoney), that’s my guy”, going further, Ebuka asked Michael if he was shocked about what he saw. “Were you shocked?” Ebuka asked and Michael replied, “I wasn’t shocked, he (Whitemoney) has a good taste. So, it was good to watch. I believe everything worked out the way it was supposed.”
Ebuka also confirmed that he saw, after the show, how Michael and Whitemoney had a good handshake and mutual exchange of pleasantries, and Michael not taking any offense with what had happened. “So, you didn’t take any offense at all?” – Ebuka asked and Michael responded, “Not at all”.
Pressing further, Ebuka, seeing that Michael didn’t take any offense with the situation, thinks the fans might have taken the situation very serious. Ebuka asked, “You think the fans made it a thing?” and Micheal replied, “Pretty much, pretty much”.
