• Boma and Angel happen to be the first set of Shine Ya Eye Housemates who have settled their differences, grudges, and reconciled with each other, during the Shine Ya Eye Reunion.
One of the breathtaking moments captured during the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye Reunion, Day 3, (Episode 3) was when Boma apologized to his colleague, Angel, following their unprovoked squabble in the Biggie’s House.
Boma had to approach Angel to give her a hug, after he realized that involving and calling out Angel’s parents and family during their altercation in the House, was very wrong of him.
During the Reunion show, Ebuka recalled the moment when Boma and Angel exchanged miserable words against each other, as a result of misunderstanding.
And Angel, while reminding Boma what he did to her, made it clear that she never mentioned his parents or family’s name during their altercation, but he said unbearable things about her parents and family to her.
Angel said, “Why should I have to listen to you. You insulted my parents and said Big Brother is my biggest achievement. You should have simply come to me and say, ‘oh I’m sorry’”.
Boma, while trying to defend himself, told Angel, “You said stuffs too. You said all the things you wanted to say”. Then Angel countered, “After provoking me, hello?
“Okay, fine I talked back at you because you were yelling at me. But for once during that argument, did I ever bring up your parents, did I ever say you were crazy, did I ever bodyshame you, slut-shame you?” Boma however, denied not slut-shaming her.
Angel continued, “Boma, I can mention thousands things that you said but I did not. I kept my cool and what I kept on telling you was f**k you, and you’re crazy. But you called me out on my name, called my mother’s name, called my family’s name, called me crazy due my mental health issue. I never insulted you beyond you’re idiot and you’re crazy”.
However, Boma responded immediately, and said, “I did come out to say I was wrong”. And Ebuka asked Boma, “So you agreed you were wrong?”, and he said yes. Ebuka added, “And you would apologize”? Turning to Angel, Boma said, “I’m sorry.” and Angel blushingly said, “Leave me”. And there comes the reconciliation.
