BBNaija’s Mercy Eke replies those alleging she sold poverty story to win Pepper Dem show

• Mercy Eke seems to be very straightforward in responding to some allegations that she sold pity story, to convince viewers to vote for her during the 2019 Big Brother show.

Big Brother Naija season 4 Pepper Dem reality television show winner, and ex-housemate, Mercy Chinenyenwa Eke, simply referred to as Mercy has responded to those accusing her of selling poverty story to win the reality TV show in 2019.

Mercy, who made her response known recently insisted that even if she opened up about her past, it doesn’t mean she was poor.

The reality star added that it was just a reminiscent of her humble beginning, and she couldn’t hold it to herself without letting the world know about it.

Mercy’s reply came shortly after a social media critic advised the Big Brother Naija viewers not to support any candidate who goes into the show to sell poverty story to the viewers.

Perhaps, it’s also because the new season 7 of the show is on the way, with audition already started a day ago, 15th till 30th May.
