• Korra Obidi and her husband, Justin Dean have set to get a divorce, after the husband announced on Wednesday night that he’s done with the marriage.
Mrs Nancy Umeh née Obidi, the sister to popular dancer, Korra Obidi Dean has confirmed that the dancer and her American husband, Justin Dean are currently in marriage crisis.
Nancy disclosed this in a post, shared via her Instagram story on Thursday, March 10, barely hours after Korra’s husband Mr Dean took to his page to announced he and the wife are getting a divorce.
Nancy appreciated everyone who has been checking out on the family since the unfortunate announcement, adding that it’s inevitable to go through these phases in marriage.
She pleaded with general public, and concerned fans of the Dean’s family to take out one minute of their time to say a prayer for them if they can.
Nancy revealed how they’ve been up all day and night trying to work things out, but they best believe Korra and Justin are committed in their marriage and will gracefully come back together and continued with their union.
Nancy’s post read, “Good morning people. Thank you all for checking in. You all are amazing people. It’s inevitable to go through these phases in marriage.
“Please take 1 minute to say a prayer for them if you can. This period is quite stretching for both of them.
“We were up all day/night trying to work things out. They are both committed and l’m positive that everything will be fine in the end. Thank you for always.”
Recall that on Wednesday night, March 9, Korra Obidi’s husband, Justin Dean shocked everyone with a post on his verified Instagram page, announcing that he’s ending his marriage with Korra.
Justin emphasized on the fact that he has tried to make everything work in their marriage, but it seems nothing is working and he’s heartbroken to continue the marriage.
He had stated, “@korraobidi and l are getting a divorce. It’s over! I won’t be treated this way longer. I did my absolute best to make it work.”
“I didn’t want this, I did my best. My heart broken. I supported her, I loved her. I don’t deserve the way i was treated.”
This surprising news comes barely a week after Korra and the husband welcomed their second child and daughter, named Athena Dean. The couple already had a daughter, named June Chukwuebube Dean, who’s about two years old.
Following his announcement, social media users and Korra’s fans thought it was a prank, but Justin responded with another post telling his followers that “it’s not a joke, and unfortunately not a prank”.
