Former Big Brother Naija season 6 Shine Ya Eye contestant and reality television star, Maria Benjamin Chike has come under fire for preaching on International Women’s Day, despite her bad records.
Tuesday, March 8, the 2022 edition of the International Women’s Day was commemorated, and women round the world were celebrated, especially by their male counterparts.
Joining in the celebration, Big Brother Naija ex-housemate, Maria Benjamin took to her social media page, via the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to drop some few inspiring posts.
She wrote, “I am grateful to be a woman, I must have done something great in another life. Michelle Obama once said, there’s no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish. Women are the future, May we be them, May we know them, May we raise them. Don’t forget Where there is a woman, there is #IWD.”
Reacting to Maria’s Twitter post, one of her critics, and social media user took to her comment section to slam her over the hypocritical post.
The reality star was criticized for sharing the above tweet, when in reality, she has a very bad record of involving herself in snatching a fellow woman’s husband.
The lady who replied Maria’s message, told her that a woman with dignity will never dream of building her happiness on another woman’s tears, adding that a woman can’t deprive young children of their father.
The critic also beckoned on Maria Chike to practice what she preaches.
“A grateful woman, a woman with self worth, self love, a woman with class and a conscience, a woman with dignity will not build her happiness on another woman’s TEARS, will not deprive young children from their father!. Practice what you preach! #HappyWomensDay,” the tweet read.
Since late last year, Maria has remained in the mind of many people as the heartless lady who snatched someone’s husband.
Recall that showbiz mogul, Cubana Chief Priest called Maria out over snatching one Mr Kelvin Anene from his wife, Maryanne, and even threatening her.
On the contrary, Maria and Kelvin’s family have debunked the allegation, saying that Kelvin and Maryanne were already divorced before Maria moved into the man’s life.
