Nollywood actor and social critic, Uche Maduagwu has revealed why he sold his car.
According to him, he sold the car, just to invest the money into the house he started building in 2019, adding that he doesn’t show off on social media, because every penny he earns goes into the building.
Uche also noted that he made up to N18 million in 2021, and he utilized the opportunity to buy more land in Anambra State.
“I made 18 million naira last year, bought more plots of land in Anambra and currently building a house. I do not show off on social media because every Kobo I make goes into my building project which I started in 2019,” he wrote.
The actor further stressed that he’s very sure most people don’t know why he sold his car. Besides, he doesn’t have to be driving flashy car in Lagos without owning a house of his own.
“Most people do not know that I sold my car just to invest into my house project. What is the essence of driving flashy cars around Lagos without a house of your own?,” he added.
Meanwhile, Uche had revealed few days ago that he was paid N3.6 million by fellow actor, Jim Iyke to pull a ‘beating stunt’, in order to promote Iyke’s latest movie, ‘Bad Comments’.
He continued that Jim added N1.2 million to the initial payment, when the video of the stunt went viral.
