Nigerian businessman, and Dubai-based BDC operator, lsmail Mustapha, popularly known as Mompha has sent a stern warning to controversial crossdresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, over the allegations he levelled against him.
Mompha warned that Bobrisky should desist from telling lies with his name, as this is not what happened, and as was alleged that he gave Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh the sum of N300,000.
Bobrisky alleged that Mompha, who has been his friend, gave Tonto Dikeh, (Bobrisky’s ex-bestie) money without Bobrisky’s knowledge.
In the official statement shared via his Instagram page on Saturday, December 18, Mompha debunked the claim, and noted that Bobrisky’s claim is very untrue and as such, a deliberate attempt by him, to smear and ridicule his personality.
Mompha clarified that he gave Tonto Dikeh N300,000, but it was when Tonto approached him, asking that he supports her pet project.
He however disassociates himself from Bobrisky, saying that he doesn’t have anything in common with him, and has no hidden association with anyone including Tonto Dikeh.
Mompha added that any further attempt by Bobrisky to use his name for clout, would be treated by his lawyer.
Mompha’s statement read, “Boy/Girl Stop using my name for clout chasing Are you mad or what bobrisky!! Be warned.
“My attention has been drawn to a statement credited to Idris Okuneye (aka “Bobrisky”), which is currently receiving traction across the social media.
“In the said statement, Bobrisky stated that I gave Tonto Dikeh the sum of N300,000.00 without his knowledge. I wish to state that this is not only untrue, but a deliberate attempt by Bobrisky, who is notorious for seeking attention through every means (including blackmail), to smear and ridicule my personality before the world.
“Rather, it was Bobrisky who informed me that Tonto Dikeh accused me of being too stingy, which I refuted as untrue. The truth is that only gave the sum of N300,000 to Tonto Dikeh for her foundation when she pleaded with me to support her pet project.
“It has however come to my knowledge that Bobrisky was actually at loggerheads with Tonto Dikeh, and resorted to use my name to discredit her before the general public. I want the general public to know that Tonto Dikeh is just a friend like every other friends I have both within and outside Nigeria, and there is nothing hidden in my friendship with Tonto Dikeh or anyone whatsoever.
“Therefore, I am using this medium to sound a note of warning to Bobrisky, to desist from mentioning my name in any fight he might have with Tonto Dikeh or anyone whatsoever as he is not my friend and I do not waste my precious time on frivolities.
“Any further attempt by Bobrisky to drag me into his issues will be addressed by my lawyers in court. PS. I want it to be in the public that I, lsmail Mustapha, as a devoted Muslima and a family man have never and will never associate myself with homosexuality and My faith forbids it.”
Meanwhile, this has come, barely hours after Bobrisky and Tonto Dikeh engaged in a very heated online brawl, following a post by Tonto Dikeh, where she indirectly shaded Bobrisky, alleging that he’s one of the celebrities who rent money to pose online.
Bobrisky also replied Tonto, as he revealed that the actress is pained because she doesn’t get free money from him anymore.
Moreover, Bobrisky’s ex-Personal Assistant and Ivory Coast-native, Oye Kyme also sided Tonto Dikeh, saying that everything the Nollywood actress said about Bobrisky was true.
