• The online fallout ensued after Tochi advised Wathoni to stop acting like everyone is against her.
Former Big Brother Naija season 5 Lockdown co-reality stars, Tochi Okechukwu and Wathoni Anyansi have clashed on online, following an advice from Tochi to Wathoni, after she complained of some brands refusing to sign her as ambassador, because she’s not controversial.
Recall that on Sunday, December 12, Wathoni took to her Twitter page and revealed that she was about signing an endorsement, but the brand, which was about picking her as brand ambassador rejected her, with reason that she’s not controversial.
Then, the next day, Monday, December 13, Wathoni’s colleague, Tochi decided to react to the post, and according to him, Wathoni has always tried to play a victim, like everyone out there is against her.
Tochi further advised Wathoni to stop acting that way because it has been long she’s known with such an ugly character.
Tochi wrote via his Instagram story, “A lot of people are acting like everyone else and they are not curious! Why! Conformity.
“@wathonianyansi people love you! For real! I
do! you need to stop acting like everyone is out to get you, this behavior have lasted for too long now!”
Responding to Tochi’s post, Wathoni blasted him, accusing him of always coming at her in public, and while in private, he will apologise.
Wathoni also attached a screenshot showing an apology Tochi sent to her in June, after Lockdown Reunion, when Tochi had a fallout with her.
Wathoni stated, “YOU THINK TOO MUCH OF YOURSELF. Pfiftttttttttttt @tochi.official Stay pressedttttt!! Clout chaser isonuuuuu.
“Let’s show everything in public Tochi. @tochi.official Don’t go in private like this apology and come and ask silly questions!!!!! My life my business. Stay Off!!!”
Explaining the reason for the apology, Tochi replied Wathoni, saying that he sent her the apology in June, because he cared and for the fact she didn’t reply him, he didn’t bother to advise her directly.
Tochi said, “This screenshot is from June, so it’s totally unnecessary! I sent it after the reunion” it shows the same thing I’m saying” I texted you because I cared! You didn’t reply! That why I didn’t text you directly! About this!
“But am glad you saw it! You’re beautiful! Elegant! Just learn to let go of grudges cause am sure everyone has moved on! and see the love, I don’t have time to be doing this before I fall for site.”
However, Wathoni returned with another response to Tochi, and she told him, “Fall for site guy Which grudge nauuuu. No be me see you for Zics party happy like tomorrow no dey. I legit know no one is out to get me. Don’t misunderstand any of my actions. It’s all love here regardiess. And stay handsome as well! No dey fight me.”
