• The Psquare’s reconciliation comes five years after they broke-up, and went their separate ways with their respective families.
Nigerian popular singing duo, and twin musician brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye, professionally known as Mr P and King Rudy have finally squashed their feud, as they reconciled with each other.
Their reconciliation comes five (5) years after they broke-up, following an issue arising from the fact that one of the brothers, Peter, wasn’t happy with how their manager, who happens to be their elder brother, Jude, was going about their music affairs.
It would be recalled that reports about the duo’s break-up surfaced after Peter reportedly sent a termination letter to the group’s lawyer. Prior to this report, the duo disbanded in 2016, supposedly over a disagreement about the role of their manager, Jude.
However, the brothers continue their music career, but as solo artistes. They each released songs respectively through their different record labels.
It’s exactly five years they’ve been apart, and the brothers have decided to come back together.
Their reconciliation was first noticed on November 13, 2021, when Peter, while in the United States, took Paul’s children out for shopping, where he bought them expensive items.
Paul’s wife, Anita Okoye made this known via a post on her Instagram story, showing the expensive chain Peter bought for Paul’s first child, Andre.
The mood continued until yesterday, Wednesday, November 17, when Paul shared a post, celebrating his brother, Peter and wife, Lola’s marriage anniversary.
Paul shared a lovely photo of his twin brother, Peter in a close-up moment with the wife, Lola, as they mark their anniversary.
Then, in the night of same day, videos began making the rounds on the internet, which now showed Peter, his wife Lola, their elder brother, Jude and some members of their family, as well as friends in Paul’s house for a family reunion.
This reunion is happening first time since they broke up last five years. And fans, supporters, well-wishers, as well as Nigerians are happy to see this happening right before everyone’s eyes.
Meanwhile, the twin brothers have finally confirmed by themselves, that they’re back together, as they celebrate each other’s birthdays.
The duo turned 40 on Thursday, November 18, and they’ve each taken to their respective social media platforms to celebrate each other.
They each posted a photo of them together as twins, accompanied with a lovely captions. “It’s our birthday,” Peter captioned, as Paul added, “Happy special birthday to us.”
