• JMK pleaded that people should stop slut-shaming the ladies and leave them to wear what befits their body. Besides, the bikini she wore was only meant for the beach.
Former Big Brother Naija season 6 Shine Ya Eye contestant and reality television star, JMK has come out to address the people who criticized recent video of her in bikini.
The controversial video, which was posted by JMK on Saturday, October 30, had the reality star put on a bikini, during a fun time at the beach.
JMK as the video showed, was spotted tapping on her buttocks, as she gushes over her heavily endowed backside. “Organic”, she captioned.
As posted via the photo and video-sharing app, Snapchat, JMK’s video began getting outrageous criticism from social media users who alleged that the Kwara State-native and lawyer is beginning to market herself to the sugar daddies.
However, responding to the critics, JMK took to Instagram live video on Sunday, October 31, to address the issue, as she explained that she went to the beach and had to wear a bikini and she doesn’t have to wear something that doesn’t befit her body.
She added that those who are criticizing her had to be aware that she’s doesn’t care about whatever they’re saying, because it’s literally their own problem.
JMK said, “It took me a long time to be extremely confident in my body. It took me a long time. Forget that, ‘oh, JMK is hot, JMK has a big *ss, JMK has a nice body.’ Forget all of that. It took me a while to get here.
“I was body-shamed a lot, I was called different names, as at when I was younger, but now, I’m like growing, I’m growing everyday. I can’t be trying to water myself down or trying to wear certain things that doesn’t befit my body, just because of, ‘oh what will people say?’, you don’t want people to see you this way, you don’t want people to see you that way.
“See me anyway you want to see me, I just feel like it’s your mentality. This is 2021, if you can’t see me pass my physical attributes, so, that’s on you, that’s not on me.
“So, I just wanted to clear the air about the whole, ‘oh, she’s looking for market,’ all that nonsense. I don’t need to do all that. It’s not all that.
“I went to the beach, and I wore a bikini. Bikini is for the beach. It’s not for going to the restaurant. I wore what was appropriate for the beach.
“So, all that nonsense some people have been saying is their problem, I really don’t care. But I just had to address it. Please, leave the girls alone.”
“It is bad enough that we get hit from different people. We’re just trying to build our self-confidence, we’re just trying to wear whatever we want, without caring about what people would say.
“So, be calm enough and not add to our problems.”
