• Yerins believes that what we see on social media are far from becoming the reality outside the social media, hence, celebrities usage of the platforms as tools to deceive people.
Former Big Brother Naija season 6 Shine Ya Eye star and ex-housemate, Yerins Abraham, has shared some opinions on what he could term, funny about social media lifestyle.
Yerins noted in a Twitter post, that some people think because someone is a celebrity, the person shouldn’t take taxi or buy things at small boutiques.
He advised that people shouldn’t be deceived by all that, because a lot of celebrities can’t afford expensive items and are only packaging for social media.
He further advised that people should be themselves and never please anyone, adding that it’s very draining to join the ‘fake it to make it’ gang.
‘Social media isn’t real,’ the BBNaija star stated, as he tells people to do things in their own pace and never to be pressured.
Yerins wrote, “People are funny though. So some people think because you’re a celeb you can’t take Taxi or buy things at small boutiques.
“You better don’t be deceived some of your faves are on this table. Just packaging for social media.
“Be yourself & don’t please anyone. Cut your coats wisely. You better don’t join the fake it to make it gang.
“Social media isn’t real. people hide their realities & project fake lives here and you’d spend them wondering GOD WHEN?
“Do your thing at your own pace and don’t be pressured. Whatever you have be happy with it. More will come.”
