• Whitemoney confessed that his greatest mistake before going into the Shine Ya Eye House, was not setting up a team that would have make things easy for him after the show.
Big Brother Naija season 6 Shine Ya Eye show winner, and reality television star, Hazel Oyeze Onou, aka Whitemoney, has advised potential BBNaija aspirants, on how to prepare for the show, if they see themselves selected as one of the contestants by the organizers.
Whitemoney shared this advice, following a question, asked by an interviewer, during a recent chat with La Mode magazine, on how he was able to cope after the show, knowing that before he left for the show, he didn’t set up a team.
Whitemoney confirmed that before he entered the House, he had only one man, who was handling his social media platforms.
His didn’t think at the initial stage that he was going to make it to the show, so, he was only having a second thought, until it became clear, so, he didn’t have the time to set up team, which made it so hard for him to cope when the show ended, hence, the reason he fell sick at some point.
So, Whitemoney advised that it’s very advisable to set up a team, before going into the House, because if you’re out of the show as fans’s favourite, or a winner, it will be very easy for you to cope when running around for interviews and media rounds.
He said, “I will be very honest with you. If you know, from the moment you know you’re auditioning for Big Brother, from the moment you know you’re going to audition for Big Brother, from the moment you know you’ve passed the stages, stage one, stage two, stage three, that’s the first stages.
“In fact, from the moment you do your medicals, you understand? You get to that stage of medicals, try and set up your team. Have a structure.
“That’s the problem most us had, including myself. I was doing everything, solo, because I was not certain.
“But the moment those mails start coming back to you. They start responding, going for audition, and everything and you get to the stage of medicals, from there anything can happen.
“Try and have a three or four man team down, social media, PR, and all that, have them down. You understand? It makes things easy.
“But when you go into the House as novice, without having all these things down, and you come out, or you now win, or you become fans’ favourite, it will hit you hard. That’s what happened to me. It hit me so hard,. because I never planned for this.”
