• Ebuka named his favourite Shine Ya Eye ex-housemates as Michael, Arin, Angel, Cross, Pere, Whitemoney, and he revealed reason he likes each of them.
Popular host of Nigeria’s reality television show, Big Brother Naija, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has disclosed the contestants from the last Big Brother Naija season 6 show he likes.
He revealed this in an interview with Lagos-based radio station, Beat FM, and according to him, Michael, Arin, Angel, Cross, Pere, and Whitemoney, were his favourite Shine Ya Eye contestants.
Ebuka also presented his reasons for picking the aforementioned Housemates as his favourites.
He started with Michael, whom he said, was the most different Housemate among Shine Ya Eye stars, adding that Michael really fascinated him.
Ebuka mentioned Arin, and explained that she has a very exceptional personality. He included that Arin was one of those Housemates who were just themselves in the Big Brother House.
He went on to add Angel, Cross and Pere, stating that Cross was the most entertaining Housemate, while Pere, according to him, was a very interesting guy.
Lastly, Ebuka mentioned that he likes the show winner, Whitemoney. And his reason being that the Enugu State-native is a very talented young man who fascinated him, as well as most viewers of the show, with his all-round talent.
Ebuka said, “I have few people who I really liked. But I think who was my favourite was so, because I feel like I didn’t see him enough, and I think he was the most different Housemate this year, it was Michael.
“I really liked Michael. He had this really interesting relationship with Jackie B, and he would break up with her today, and the next day, they’ll have this three-hour long talk,… And I’m just like, what are you on about? He fascinated me, I won’t lie. But he left after a month, and I just feel like, ah, may be we could have seen him more.
“I like Arin a lot. I think Arin left too early as well. She was one of those few people who were just themselves. Arin had many opinions, I knew she was not going to last. She had too many opinions that she wasn’t scared of voicing. So, I liked Arin a lot.
“I liked Angel. I liked Cross. Cross was easily, the most entertaining Housemate we had. Everytime you see him, you either have something to laugh about or something interesting about him.
“And Pere was interesting. And Pere was like, (to Cross), who’s this guy. And there’s no way you won’t notice him, if you saw him in that House.
“With Whitemoney. I think for me, it was how he was able to… I don’t how I would put it… He didn’t come at first as what I thought he would be. He’s a little too talented. I was like wow. The piano came into the House for like a week, he started playing the piano. And I was like wow. He played it flawlessly. He could sing, where there were acting tasks, he killed it. It was hard to not be like, oh, this guy is really good.
“I was really fascinated by his backstory. Whitemoney had rode Okada, he has cut hair in barber’s shop. Whitemoney had cooked. And I was just like, you have done everything. And there were pictures to show all of these things, from like Facebook or whatever. He has lived such as full life, and now he’s doing well enough, with business, and now he’s on Big Brother.”
