• Renowned, Nigerian reality television show, Gulder Ultimate Search has finally returned after five years.
The exceptional show, which has to do with the survival instincts of its contestants, dominated the Nigerian airwaves and internet in the early 2000s.
The show began in 2004 and was run for 11 seasons before the unannounced break in 2016. The show, which was propounded by the Nigerian Breweries Plc, produced some great talents who are now stars.
Some of the past winners who have made it big in the entertainment industry include; 2010 edition winner, Kunle Remi, Dennis Okike the season 8 winner, and Chris Okagbue who won the season 10 edition.

According to an official announcement by Nigerian Breweries (NB) Plc., the show would make its comeback and this year’s theme is “The Age of Craftsmanship”.
Sade Morgan, the Corporate Affairs Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc, said: “We are really excited to be bringing back the Gulder Ultimate Search for the viewing pleasure of Nigerians who have over the years continued to call for the return of the show.
“The planning team has put in place everything necessary to give the fans exactly what they enjoy about the show, and I am confident that everyone will be pleasantly surprised and delighted with what we have in store.”
According to Morgan, registration will kick off on September 1 and close on September 8. The first screening session starts September 13 in Abuja and Enugu, while the second screening session kicks off on September 16 in Lagos.
To apply, interested participants have to be Nigerians between 21-35 years old.
Applications should be submitted to http://www.gulderultimatesearch.ng between September 1, 2021, and September 8, 2021.
The ‘Gulder Ultimate Search: The ‘Age of Craftsmanship’ is set to premiere on October 16, and will run till December 19, when the grand finale will hold.
The show will air on DStv and other local stations across the country. However, the host of the show is yet to be unveiled, but previous editions of the show were anchored by Nollywood actors Chidi Mokeme and Bob Manuel-Udokwu.
