• According to Saskay, Yousef first admitted he liked her, before Jaypaul and then, Cross came into the picture.
Former Big Brother Naija season 6 Shine Ya Eye contestant and reality television star, Saskay has revealed that male Housemates, Jaypaul and Cross weren’t the first to make advances at her in the House.
Speaking with Ebuka during her post-eviction interview, on Monday, Saskay noted that Yousef first admitted he liked her before Jaypaul, and Cross.
Ebuka’s question started when he asked her to correct him if he’s wrong to say that Cross was the first person in the picture.
Saskay said, “It wasn’t Cross, it was Yousef. And he got into the picture the night we were playing Truth or Dare, and, he admitted to liking me.
“And then, we did have a conversation after that, and I say, okay, let’s try and see how, may be, we can catch a vibe.”
Ebuka asked her if Yousef made his intentions known, and she said, “That’s the thing, no intentions. And he wasn’t really straight forward with me. What he liked saying is that, we have things in common. And I didn’t think that was reason enough.”
Saskay, explaining how Jaypaul came into the picture said, “Then Jaypaul, the same night Yousef admitted to liking me, Jaypaul did the same. And I tried to have a conversation with him earlier about it but, it didn’t work that early.
“It was after a while, we started having conversations, and honestly, my emotions wouldn’t have grown that much, except for the reason that he was always close to me.”
Then, for Cross, and how he came into the picture, she added, “I didn’t believe Cross liked me, Peace was the one that told me at first. Like, she notices.
“And I personally thought that Cross wasn’t the type of person that likes a girl like me.”

Ebuka went further to asked Saskay about the fact that it seemed to viewers she doesn’t want disturbance from Jaypaul, Cross, but at the same time, she’s not willing to dismiss them.
Saskay answered, “I love attention, yes, but I didn’t want to also be playing with their feelings, saying that I had spoken with them and did understand that their feelings were genuine to an extent.
“So, I didn’t want to play with their feelings, at the same time, I wanted to sort of make them happy.”
And with two people (Jaypaul and Cross) involved, Saskay added, “I was trying to balance it.”
Ebuka asked her how she feels at the moment, knowing that when she came into the House, she mentioned that her boyfriend didn’t at first, want her to go for the show, and seeing how the boys were making advances at her.
She said, “Honestly, even before the House, there was a lot of red lights everywhere. And the relationship was sort of not working out. So, for the fact that we couldn’t even have a proper conversation about me going into the House, like, it wasn’t cases. I don’t think in any way that might still work out.”
Ebuka asked, “so you think your relationship outside the House is done, and she said, “I think so.”
