The news about dissolution of marriage between the Nigerian music star, Paul Okoye also known as Rudeboy, who happens to be twin brother to Peter Okoye aka Mr P, the defunct Psquare brothers, and the wife, Anita Okoye hit the internet in the early hours of Friday, August 20.
This followed a court document filed before an Abuja High Court to Rudeboy by his wife, Anita Okoye, demanding that their 7-year-old marriage be dissolved.
However, Anita has some reasons for making such move which she clearly stated in the court document.

Companionship denial
According to Anita in the petition, Paul denied her any form of companionship and love which are the integral components of all successful marriages.
Lack of support for wife’s family
Anita also stated that Paul overlooked his responsibility as a husband by refusing to support and cater for her and her family members.
Lack of communication
Also in the document, Anita said they no longer communicate as a couple, adding that the marriage has broken down irretrievably because of lack of love and compatibility.
Irreconcilable differences
Anita who was the singer’s university lover said another reason she wants their marriage dissolved is over irreconcilable differences.
Resistance to communication attempt
And lastly, Anita opened up in the petition that their relationship went cold and all attempts to savour what was left of it, was met with stiff resistance. And Paul on his part, ceased all forms of communication with her.
