• It has now been revealed that reason Jaypaul was turned back from taking part in the Lockdown show in 2020 was because he had Coronavirus.
Dorathy and Prince of Big Brother Naija season 5 Lockdown reality television show have disclosed the reason Shine Ya Eye contestant Jaypaul was replaced with Trikytee last year, 45 minutes before the show premiere.
Jaypaul during his introduction in the beginning of season 6 show revealed to the Housemates that he was supposed to be among the Lockdown season 5 Housemates.
According to him, he was turned back to his hotel room from climbing Big Brother Naija stage, 45 minutes before the show opening.
He however didn’t reveal to the Shime Ya Eye Housemates the details of the incident, but he was sure his bags were already in the House.
Jaypaul in addition stated that it was a tough time for him but his family helped him pull through.
Then, during their live Instagram session on Friday, August 13, with Kiddwaya, the former Housemates Prince and Dorathy revealed that Jaypaul was turned back because he had deadly Covid-19.

And Prince added that Trikytee was put in place of Jaypaul.
Dorathy said, “Jaypaul is the guy that was turned back few minutes to the live show. I think the reason was because he had COVID-19.
Prince added, “Yeah, he was replaced with Trickytee.”
Shocked by the revelation, Kiddwaya wondered how the Lockdown Housemates would have all been infected with the disease if it was not detected before the show premiere.
