Barely a day after rumours of their break-up hit the internet, Fancy Acholonu, the fiancee and wife-to-be of Nigerian actor, Alex Ekubo has finally confirmed they’re not together anymore.
In a post made via her Instagram page on Thursday evening, August 26, Fancy announced that she has ended relationship and engagement with Alex Ekubo.
She also added that she has called off their wedding set to hold this November.
According to Fancy, this is the best decision for herself, even though she’s aware how shocked many people would be.
She however asked that people respect her privacy and that of her family.
This sad news is coming three months after their engagement, which took place in United States of America in May, 2021.

Fancy wrote: “Hey guys, I am writing to inform you all officially that I have ended my relationship, engagement, and I have called off the wedding with Alexx Ekubo.
“l am aware that this may be a shock to many people. I made the best decision for myself, because it is important that everyone finds their happiness and live in their truth.
“At this time my family and I ask for you all to please respect our privacy. Thank you so much!”

Meanwhile, the news of Alex Ekubo and Fancy Acholonu’s break-up began making waves yesterday, Wednesday, August 25, after some source revealed that Fancy has unfollowed and blocked Alex Ekubo on social media platforms.
The report also has it with some evidence that Fancy deleted all the post related to Alex from her social media pages, as well as their joint Instagram account.
