• Burna Boy who happens to be the only person who has reacted to the video tweeted today that Bia has been loitering in his DM since past few years.
Nigerian singer Burna Boy has finally responded to United States rap sensation Bia after she denied in a live Instagram video that she doesn’t know Burna Boy, Wizkid or Davido.
During an Instagram video with Nicki Minaj on Friday, Bia was heard saying that she doesn’t personally know any of the Nigerian top singers.
Following her statement, many Nigerians and fans of Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido have thrown some jibes at her.
These fans believed Bia was just on the Instagram live to clout-chase knowing well she might get the little fame from Nigerians if she carries on with controversy.
However, the rapper later took to her Twitter page to clarify on her statement and according to her, she was only saying that she hasn’t met either Burna Boy, Wizkid or Davido for the first time and didn’t mean she doesn’t know their music.
“I said I don’t know what they all look like doesn’t mean I don’t know their music. I didn’t mean to offend anyone #LOVE,” she tweeted alongside Nigeria flag emoji.
Then, in a Twitter post today, Saturday, July 10, Burna Boy reacted for the first time after the controversial video made the rounds on internet the previous day.
And according to the Grammy award-winning singer, Bia has being in his DM since 2018. And this simply insinuates that the rapper knows him too well.
“That babe wey nor know our face don dey my dms since 2018 o,” Burna Boy tweeted.
Meanwhile, one of the Burna Boy’s crew members King Manny earlier today shared a post via his Instagram story revealing a comment Bia posted on Burna Boy’s post few years ago.
Manny simply noted that the Whole Lotta Money crooner has being crushing on Burna Boy for a very long time and she won’t deny that.
