• A brand has come out to accuse Vee of refusing to pay N1.9 million debt she owes them which included the cost of signing a contract and using the brand’s equipments for her campaign shoot.
Nigerian fashion company Zeena & Zara has called out former Big Brother Naija season 5 Lockdown reality television star Victoria Adeleye popularly known as Vee over unpaid debt.
According to the brand, Vee had earlier signed contract with them, which included shooting to campaign for the brand. But as the agreement stated, Vee was to pay the company a certain amount of money for the shoot and cost of using shooting equipments.
On remitting her money, Vee was able to pay about 70 percent of the amount charged on her behalf hoping to complete it in the coming weeks but until now, the brand hasn’t received balance from Vee.
Taking to the official Instagram page, Zeena & Zara brand however disclosed that Vee is owing the company roughly sum of N1.9 million and it demands that she pays up or the contents derived from the shoot would be used for campaign by the brand, after she completes her debts, the contents would be taken down from the company’s official pages.
Statement from Zeena & Zara reads: “When you were calling for this deal we considered as we believed you would add value, little did we know it was going to be the other way round!
“After paying, right on the first day of set, everyone stressed to work with you, we still persuaded them so we could work something out, you looked down on everyone on set including the photographer, yet we overlooked and still waited with you till your Uber arrived so as not to leave just you on site …
“The brand has worked with a lot of people with no issues, we can’t cope with your attitude because you don’t even know what it takes to be a brand ambassador, and all this should have been well explained to you before putting pen to paper you are out of the big brother house yet you act like everyone on set is one of the housemates.
“Your manager has said you have been gathering the money and paid a part, you still owe the brand a lot of money! Vee before dissassociating from a brand you ought to pay up, sign out of the contract, Please gather up and Therefore kindly pay up. More details coming soon.
“Apparently Vee paid 2 million out of the 2.5m she was given for the deal she refused to honor. However, the shoot including the items she took cost about 1.4million which she insisted on not paying back.
“I mean, how can you sign a contract then refused to comply by posting the shoot done after which you decided to delete the picture of the contract signing. I believe we all understand what that means so since you couldn’t fulfill your end of the bargain, we decided to send her manager a mail to terminate the contract after 48 hours without response.
“Now she refused to pay for the loss incurred for the shoot, not forgetting that she made away with items worth 400k including the 500k balance from the ambassadorial deal payment, all tuning to about a total of 1.9million.
“Since she is not willing to pay for the lose incurred and the outstanding, the brand decided to use the content from the shoot done so as to minimize the lose incurred.
“@veeiye, please note that since you have refused to complete the outstanding, the Zeena & Zara brand will use all the content done on the shoot. This was discussed but you insisted on not paying, in case you change your mind, kindly pay up then the content will be taken down from our page. Thank you.

Meanwhile, on sighting the statement, the reality TV star took to her Instagram story to debunk the claim saying that she currently does not have anything doing with the brand.
Vee asked that people should disregard every image of her shared by the company as false advertising, adding that if anyone does business with them, it’s at the person’s own detriment.
Vee posted: “l am no longer associated with the “Zeena & Zara” Brand, regard every image of me shared by them as false advertising and only do business with them at your prerogative.”
