• Just like the #EndSARS emoji, ‘FEM’ crooner David Adeleke has specially been recognized on Twitter with an emoji created from his popular slang, #Echoke.
Renowned social medium and micro-blogging platform Twitter has recognized Nigerian award-winning singer, Davido with special emoji titled “Echoke”.
Unlike many other hashtags on Twitter, when a user tweets with the hashtag, #Echoke, there will be an emoji next to the word.
And the emoji was derived from Davido’s picture where he demonstrated the EChoke sign while performing on stage.
The EChoke sign is simply done by holding both of your hands on your neck like someone who is being choked to death.
Taking to his page, Davido shared a tweet noting that even the owner of Twitter, Jack Dorsey knows that EChoke has become trendsetter on the platform.
“Even @jack know say #echoke,” the singer tweeted on Wednesday, May 5.
