• Lilo responded through her lawyer and paid the young man immediately.
Nigerian man identified as Boluwatife Temitope has accused Big Brother Naija season 5 Lockdown reality television star and ex-housemate, Lilo of not paying him after he did a job for her.
It all started via the micro-blogging platform, after a fan with the username, @Oriaku tweeted that she has been admiring a N20,000 pant BBNaija’s Dorathy wore the previous day as poverty couldn’t let her afford it.
“The pants Dorathy wore yesterday that was eyeing is 20k. When will poverty leave me,” @Oriaku tweeted.
Then, Lilo took to a reply and told the fan to order the pant that she would pay…. “Order it! ‘ll pay for you. Happy new year,” Lilo told @Oriaku.
However, Mr Boluwatife Temitope, who saw Lilo’s reply got irritated and responded saying that Lilo couldn’t pay him for a job but can buy a pant for a fan.
“But you couldn’t pay for the Jobs I did for you. Celebrities and this public showcasing of being nice. You and your brand are evil!,” Boluwatife Temitope tweeted.
After some minutes, Lilo issued a statement through her lawyer explaining what transpired between her and the young man. And according to her, the young man messaged her on Twitter demanding he sends sample of works for her.
He was later asked by Lilo’s team to design a random logo which they rejected as a result of unprofessional outcome. Although, there was no prior payment agreement made for the random logo.
But after Boluwatife asked that he would be paid N70,000, Lilo responded to his request and sent him the money.
