And according to her, it was 5 years ago, in January 15, 2015 when a brand invited her to work for them as an influencer.

Toke described the moment as overwhelming as she didn’t expect the company to pay her such amount of money for an influencing job.

Meanwhile, Miss Makinwa disclosed that before that year, she has been struggling and working so hard to make ends meet.

She recalled in December 2014, how she decided to attend the popular prayer event, Shiloh held every first week of December by Bishop David Oyedepo-headed Living Faith Church (also known as Winners Chapel) for prayers and to prepare herself for the new year, 2015.

Then in January 2015, this brand which had wanted her to influence their products after their first set of campaign garnered so much impression online, including YouTube, invited her for another business relationship.

As God may have it, she received a cheque of N10 million from them and she couldn’t hold her excitement afterwards.

The first thing she did was take out N1 million for her tithe and according to her, that was the very first time she gave God such amount of money as tithe.
