• BBNaija 2020 star, Vee has sounded it back again that she would never fall for any pressure linking her to do what she doesn’t want to do.
• Vee noted that signing deals with any brand isn’t part of what gives someone bragging rights and she believes in a longer-term success.
The pressure has come too much on the Big Brother Naija season 5 Lockdown reality television star and ex-housemate, Vee and she’s out once again to expressed herself and say things the way she prefers it.
Vee has received so many messages from fans and supporters urging her to begin securing the bags just like her Lockdown colleagues, but according to her, not all that glitters is gold.
The reality TV star believes in some principles of life and she lives by them. Vee has said time and again that she’ll never ink a signature with any brand just for the mere ‘ambassadorial deal and bragging rights.’
Taking to her Twitter page today, Thursday, November 12, Vee reiterated that people can call her stubborn but they can’t convince her to do something she doesn’t believe in or something that doesn’t represent her brand.
The singer revealed that there are many people pressurizing her to be the face of skin bleaching and slimming products when she’s naturally a size 10.
Vee vowed to never be a cliche and if it takes her longer to get where she wants to be, then she’ll very okay with that. She can’t fall for all the short-term pressure just for bragging rights.
“Call me stubborn, but you can’t convince me to do something I don’t believe in or something that doesn’t represent my brand because “that’s how things are done in this country,” Vee began.
She continued, “I have too many young girls following me to be the face of any skin bleaching products. I’m a size 10, so why would I be representing slimming products?
“I refuse to be a cliche. And if it takes me a little longer to get to where I wanna be, then so help me God. For the last time; Longevity > bragging rights.”

Meanwhile, some of her supporters took to the comment section to share their little advice. And according to them, Vee should be aware that this time is the only moment she has to grab every opportunity that comes her way.
They continued that if she fails to do that, the next Big Brother Naija show is on the way and when it starts, no one will devote time to know or see whatever she’ll have up her sleeves.
@PrettyMichella, “No one in ur comment section is telling u the truth. In today’s world, u must be flexible in order to make it to the top. Every brand can’t be readjusting just to suit ur rigidity. Wake up gal, this is just the only time u’ve to sell urself before the next set of BBnaija is out”
@Nubian301, “I think you made close to 8M in 2 months in the house, under correction. So 8M/2= 4M a month. So your deals should match that if not more monthly cos that ur price tag now. I’m not from Naija so don’t know if it’s asking too little. But hopefully you get my drift.”
