Big Brother Naija season 4 Pepper Dem reality television star and ex-housemate, Mike Edwards has shared with the general public, the reason his brother lost his life during a sickle cell crisis in Nigeria, years ago.
Mike noted that when his brother was 10, he died as a result of lack of good and adequate healthcare in Nigeria to solve his sickle cell problem.
And to think if he would have been in a country with better healthcare that his life wound be saved is heartbreaking.
The proud dad made it clear that Nigerian healthcare system need to be improved which is one reason EndSARS campaign has been paramount for the youths who fight for good governance and do not want their children to experience the hard time they’re already in.
Mike tweeted; “My brother Matthew lost his life during a sickle cell crisis in Nigeria when he was 10, to think if he would have been in a country with better healthcare that his life would be saved today is heartbreaking. The fight to #EndSARS is our cry for help after years of bad governance.”
