Few hours after sacking Lil Frosh, Davido signs first-ever female artiste, Liya into DMW label

Nigerian award winning superstar singer, Davido has signed new artiste, Liya into Davido Music Worldwide, DMW and 30 Billion Gang, 30 BG label.

The music star made this known on Tuesday evening, October 6, 2020 via a post shared on his social media pages which was accompanied with some photos.

Stating in his post, the FEM crooner announced that he just signed Davido Music Worldwide’s first lady by name, Liya. He also promised to make the young lady a global star.

Davido wrote; “Welcome officially to the party! DMW 1st lady! @yes_liya from here it’s onwards and upwards ! On this day I make this promise to you. Imma make you a global star! Never!! #30BG”

However, the latest signee confirmed with a post on her Instagram page about her new record deal as she affirmed her dream has finally come true.

She also appreciated Davido from the depth of her heart for his magnanimity and for believing in her as she promised to make him proud.

Liya wrote; “I know this sounds cliche, but my dreams are coming true, here and now. @davidoofficial I will make you so proud, I appreciate you from the depth of my soul ! I want this more than anything, thank you @vanzyvanz for believing in me, it means so much that I have a manager as passionate as you. As for me …. it’s official I AM 30 BG.”

Meanwhile, recall that earlier in the day, Davido released a press statement announcing the termination of his signee, Lil Frosh‘s contract from DMW label after the young man was accused and found guilty of domestic violence against his girlfriend, Gift Camille.
