
Celebrities worldwide have lend their voices with that of Nigerian youths in solidarity and protest for Nigerian government to disband the county’s controversial police unit, Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.
Over the past few days, Nigerian citizens took a step to making sure the world hears their outcry since the government has gone on deaf ears about taking action towards realization of the brutalities caused by SARS against the citizens.
Nigerian celebrities and other well-meaning citizens have organised peaceful protests which have included sharing voices over the pressing issue at the moment, EndSARS.
Some concerned celebrities worldwide have lend their voices via their respective social media platforms urging Nigerian government to hear its citizens and take action immediately.

American celebrities like Trey Songz, Big Sean, Lil Baby, and South African rappers, Nasty C, Cassper, have all shared concerns on social media.
Trey Songz tweeted; “After doing a little research I would like to speak out against what’s going on in Nigeria right now. Their pleas to #EndSarsNow IS VERY REAL. I have so much love for my Nigerian fans and it’s so hurtful to hear whats happening.
“Police brutality here in America often is an abuse of power driven by race. To be brutalized, extorted and murdered by your own people is unimaginable. Prayers up and I’m researching ways I can help. #EndSARS
Nigerian-Uk actor John Boyega wrote; “Three years ago Nigeria’s police chief re-organised SARS after public condemnation about the violence that came with their operations. That change has done nothing for Nigerians and today many are still in danger. #EndSarsProtests
