Big Brother Naija season 4 reality television star and ex-housemate, Natacha Akide popularly called Tacha has shared some pieces of advice to Nigerian youths who have been protesting for weeks seeking for an end to Police brutality and reformation of the Force.
She also sent out warning to some youths in Lagos who have used the opportunity during protest to organized merriment for themselves at Lekki toll gate.
According to Tacha, Nigerian youths need a plan on the way forward as the government has refused meeting up with the five points agenda presented to them, even though panel has been allegedly set up to handle the Police reform process.
However, the Rivers State-native suggested that youths should appoint representatives who can be included in the panel to see how the work is being done, adding that it’s better to have youths who can relate to the pains of the young masses than recycling same old individuals at the panel.
And for the protesters who have chosen to turn Lekki toll gate into entertainment spot, Tacha advised that they halt it because there’s time for everything and now is not the time for what they’re doing.

The reality star stated this in a video shared on Saturday, October 17 via her social media platforms.
She said; “We are doing great ooo, we are all doing great, I never saw a day like this will come where Nigerians will be this united.
“Whether you’re out there on the street, whether you’re here online with me, you’re doing great, we are all doing well.
“But guys we need a plan. What is the plan? Five for five is being met in Lagos, five for five is being met in Plateau, is five for five being met in Cross Rivers State, is five for five being met in Abuja?
“We have 36 States in this country, let’s not do as if we have only one State in the country. We need a plan.
“A panel is being set up. We need Nigerian youths in that panel. We need people that can relate to our pains in that panel. Not the same old recycled leaders.
“You can’t relate to my pains, you can’t relate to hunger. Have you been starved before, have your brother being shot before who didn’t do anything? You cannot relate.
“So, we need young Nigerians that understand this movement in that panel. You can’t be saying maximum of six months for something that can be solved if we have smart Nigerian youths in that panel for a couple of weeks. We need a plan.
“And you see that Lekki toll gate, all of you there need to get a grip of yourselves, because I feel like, you’re all deviating.
“If you’re trying to deviate, give mic to police brutality victims let them share their stories. I personally have two stories with the police.
“Let them share their stories. Get a projector showing all the videos of people that have been killed in cold blood.
“You can’t be there smoking shisha, playing snooker. There’s time for everything. This is the wrong timing for what you people are doing there.
“It’s not a carnival, it’s not a meet and greet, it’s not a photo studio. We mean business. People have lost their lives legit for this course.
“We had candlelight service yesterday night. Let’s not forget. Get a grip of yourselves.”
