Daddy Freeze slams pastor Wale after he condemned BBNaija Laycon’s appointment as Youth Ambassador

Nigerian retired On-Air Personality, OAP and religious critic, Daddy Freeze has come out to lash out at the man of God, Wale Adenuga who earlier today, Wednesday, October 7 condemned the appointment of Big Brother Naija season 5 Lockdown reality TV show winner, Laycon as the Ogun State Youth Ambassador.

Recall that yesterday, Tuesday, October 6, Laycon paid visit to his State Governor, Dapo Abiodun. And during the media briefing, the Ogun State first citizen announced that he has made Laycon a Youth Ambassador with a three-bedroom house as well as N5 million cash reward.

However, Pastor Wale, who took to his Instagram page expressed his utmost disappointment in Ogun State governor saying that the gesture was totally disheartening.

Wale had this to say; “I’m totally disheartened by the Governor of Ogun state making the winner of #bbnaija an ambassador of the state, rewarding him further with cash and a house.

“No thanks to you sir for further entrenching the sad narrative that we are a nation that rewards trivialities and mediocrity. Our values keeps going to the dogs!”

On countering the clergyman’s post, Freeze noted today that Laycon deserves whatever good things he’s receiving from anyone and more, adding that he’s entitled to the good fortune his fame as the winner of BBNaija Lockdown is bringing to him.

Daddy Freeze wrote; “I don’t get this. @itslaycon deserves this and more. He represented Nigeria well in the house and is entitled to the good fortune his fame as the winner of BBN lockdown is bringing to him.

“Laycon finished from the University of Lagos with a 2:1, a second class upper. He has showcased his tenacity, despite his health challenges and is a beacon of hope to our youths in a time of crises and despair, by combining his talent as a musician and his academic prowess with the brawn needed to win BBN.

“So why should those who support him be discouraged? Reform police una no talk, Na Laycon be Nigeria problem?

“Guys, this one no enter, face midnight challenges or whatever else it is that you do or are you tired of preaching about the ‘favor of God’ that Laycon is supposedly enjoying? Thank you.”
