Nigerian actress, Queen Nwokoye has said that courtship, aka ‘chasing woman’, made finding love and moving into a relationship very fun back in the days.
Using Big Brother Naija season 5 reality TV star, Ozo as example, the actress noted on her Twitter page that courtship can make relationship strong but as a result of the societal changes, everyone wants to quickly jump in love.
Recall that Ozo trended throughout his time in Big Brother Naija Lockdown show due to the behavioral adaptation he utilized almost all the time in asking his love interest, Nengi for a relationship together.
However, some Nigerians didn’t find Nwokoye’s post as certified enough to convince them that courtship still matters much in a relationship.

Nwokoye: “The only thing I have realised from the Ozo and Nengi bashing is that alot of people don’t value courtship aka chasing. They love quickies.
“Chasing was what made toasting fun and relationships strong back in the days but indomie generation won’t understand.”
@REMY: “May your sons be like ozo in Jesus name”
Nwokoye: “Your parents should be ashamed of you wherever they are. They failed in the are of home training.
@Emperor: “I was expecting an “Amen”
Nwokoye: “Like seriously, to who and what? To that mannerless little boy.? E no reach naa. You people really over rate yourselves. Social media and it’s disadvantages. I say my opinion on my page and a little boy flies over to mention my son Ndu don’t see anything wrong with it. FOH!!”
