Lyta came to limelight as an afropop singer after his record deal with YBNL Nation on February 3, 2018. His breakthrough single, ‘Time’ with YBNL Boss, Olamide was released on February 14, 2018.
In 2019, Lyta exited YBNL Nation as a result of disagreement leading to personal issues with the label. After he left YBNL, he signed with Doro Musik Gang where he released the single, ‘Monalisa’ in July 12, 2019, a song that got the attention of music star and DMW boss, Davido who reached out to Lyta for an official remix with him.
After their agreement, Davido and Lyta jetted off to Dakar for the remix and video shoot. The remix of ‘Monalisa’ was later released on 30 August 2019.
The Kwara State-native Ajegunle-bred youngster currently has other hit songs to his name, one of which include, Worry.
