Big Brother Naija Lockdown Housemates recorded their first-ever Wager win after losing back to back the last two Wagers.
The performance themed ‘80s Romantic Classic Musical’ made the Lockdown geng put in their best as they gave the viewers a sight to behold
And for winning this Wager, Housemates have gotten all they needed for shopping as they have enough double allowance to go all out in their weekend shopping.
The attire for the Task had to be made an Old School fashionable outfit ranging from the wigs to boot cut pants to align with the 80’s theme.
For the night, Housemates kicked off performance with the fable of Fela Kuti’s legendary hit ‘Open and Close’ with Neo introducing the romantic musical.
In all, the play was staged to arrive at the final statement that Love Wins after being seen reinforced with lots of twists and turns.
Biggie was pleased with the Housemates’ performance especially that of Prince who he felt deserved an award. Erica spiced up with her role as well but winning isn’t always the main goal, it all come down on how the Housemates conducted themselves in the House over the week.
Big Brother called out Tolanibaj, Vee and Tochi and accused them of having formed the habit of speaking in their respective native languages (Yoruba and Igbo) without proper translation into the official language of the House, English or Pidgin. Warning was issued to them.
On win declaration, Biggie informed Housemates that they have won their first Wager. In their shopping allowance was 1,090 BB Naira and for winning the Wager Task, it has been doubled to 2,180 BB Naira.
The win gave Lockdown Housemates more earning power to shop relentlessly and we hope this first major win will fetch more victories for them in the remaining weeks.
