It’s Official!!! Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the popular Big Brother Naija host has been confirmed to retain his mantle as the reality TV show host for the forthcoming season 5.
Mr Obi-Uchendu, who contested for Big Brother Naija season 1 in 2008 was made the host from 2017 when the 2nd season returned. He continued through season 3, 4 and now 5.
Ebuka made an official post on his social media pages today, July 6 confirming that he will be hosting the 2020 edition of the show slated to kick off on July 19 in Lagos.
He wrote;
“CONFIRMED!!! Excited to be returning as the host of another season of the continent’s biggest show; @bigbronaija from July 19!!! Can’t wait to be a part of yet another magical journey… But before then, I’ll see you tonight on @africamagic”

Meanwhile, the prospective contestants for the BBNaija 5 has been reported to be on quarantine prior to July 19 premiere.
Last few days, Regional Director of M-Net West Africa, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu made this known during media gathering on Zoom that the candidates were quarantined in order to meet NCDC guidelines on Covid-19 preventive measures.
