22-year-old entrepreneur from Bayelsa State, Rebecca Hampson better known as Nengi has been declared Big Brother Naija season 5 first Head of House.
Nengi also picked housemate and 29-year-old fashion entrepreneur Florence Wathoni Anyansi simply known as Wathoni on Biggie’s instruction, as her deputy whom she will enjoy the Head of House luxury room with.
The first round of Head of House game saw a tie between Neo and Nengi. There was a 2nd draw between the two and it resulted to another tie.
But Biggie decided to give both of them the last chance which evenly became of Nengi to luckily win the HoH challenge.
As Nengi emerged the winner of the night’s Head of House game after series of ties with Neo, she chose Wathoni as her deputy and she’s to share the HoH lounge with her.
The HoH Game and Rules
Throughout 10 weeks in the house, Head of House game isn’t going to change, so Biggie advised the Housemates to move around and access the game without touching any item.
In the center of the Arena, was a mat with 30 boxes between the start point and the Head of House point.
As a game of luck, the motive was for them to move on the steps and arrive at the Head of House point within a fixed time frame. The number of steps taken was decided by a dice roll.
It began with Trikytee and ended with Tolanibaj in a series of dice rolling and steps in the first round, only Nengi and Neo were lucky enough to participate in a second where the ties came up.
Nengi and Neo were eager to make it personally as the first Head of House as they took turns playing the game with no more countdown clock of one minute to guide them.
Here’s the Winner
Nengi emerged as the first Head of House in the Season 5 after a clear win in the game of dice. Like we noted above, she was given opportunity to select a Deputy Head of House and Wathoni was the lucky one.
