Big Brother Naija reality TV star, Mercy Chinenyenwa Eke has cleared air on the 2019 endorsement deal with champagne brand, Moët & Chandon.

According to her, the deal initially was an oral agreement where she and her team were told that after the oral agreement, she will come back to formally append signature and be recognized as the brand’s ambassador.
This was made known during Pepper Dem Reunion Show when the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked Mercy to explain what really transpired at that time which left social media buzzing for days.
Mercy also made it clear that as soon as the deal was concluded orally, as was by Celebrity Bar Man, Chibuike Paschal Okechukwu aka Cubana Chief Priest, rumours started making rounds that Mercy’s deal was “audio”, (i.e. not real).
So, she told Ebuka that when she got to see what people say on social media about the deal, she had to call her lawyer, who told her not to worry about it. But she also had to decide to take the money they already paid her back to them and demanded they released a public statement to clear the air about the mess they’ve caused her reputation.
However, no statement was released by the brand and the deal itself was still seen as unreal up until it was forgotten and Mercy began getting more deals with other brands. WATCH VIDEO BELOW
