Nollywood actor and philanthropist, Williams Uchemba has fed 1000 less-privileged Nigerians in Lagos State.

According to a post made on his Instagram page, Williams confirmed that his foundation, Williams Uchemba Foundation in partnership with Youth In Diaspora and A 1 Chisom, fed 1000 hungry Nigerians on June 29, 2020.
He also confirmed that they’ve feed 100,000 people in the last 6 months and hopefully, it’ll be extended to 1 million before the year 2020 runs out.
He wrote;
“By the help of God we feed 1000 people today the rain tried to stop us but I guess we are not salt.
“And I was just reminded that we’ve feed almost 100,000 people since the year started, that is a number we are proud of but I know we can feed 1,000,000 people. I want to thank the founder of @youthindiaspora, @a1chisom for partnering with me on this one.
“Nigerian Army, the response squad and the police for helping us coordinate everything and I want to also thank the @williams_uchembafoundation team for the work well done I also want to thank each and everyone that has been supporting us on this journey.
“May God continue to bless you, and lastly I want to thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ for giving us the grace and strength to keep pushing. #thegivechallenge #williamsuchembafoundation”
The popular actor and humanitarian, Williams Uchemba has been known over the years as one of Nigeria’s top philanthropists due to his act of generosity and charity towards humanity.
Just recently the award winning actor shared a post on his social media page revealing a young man who happened to be carpenter apprentice he adopted as his son.
Mr Uchemba explained that after seeing the boy identified as Demola in a carpentry workshop he went to buy furniture, he decided to invite him over to his house where he discussed with him and observed that he is not in school as a result of financial difficulties.
The actor later on promised to sponsor the 18-year-old boy all through his tertiary school level and probably any other academic stage he wishes to attain.
