Ghanaian award winning reggae superstar, Livingstone Etse Satekla famously known as Stonebwoy has alleged that most Nigerian artistes passed through Ghanaian music industry before they became popular, simply known as ‘to blow’.
Stonebwoy made this known during an Instagram live session with Nigerian Media personality and OAP, Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode better known as Do2dtun.
The singer first of all asked Do2dtun why it had become a routine for musician from Nigerian to pass through Ghana before they gain the recognition.
For Instance, he said that Mr Eazi was a well known artiste in Ghana before he was picked up by Wizkid who automatically made him channel his musical life to Nigerian industry.
Going further, he noted that there hadn’t been any Ghanaian music star who has ever passed through Nigeria to make it in the industry and it’s a thing to be boastful about.
Well, someone may likely say that Stonebwoy’s statistical statement might be termed out of proportion because one can’t use Mr Eazi as an instance to think all other Nigerian artistes passed through Ghana before they garnered fame.
