Nigerian man has slammed Mavin Records young singer, Divine Ikubor popularly known as REMA after he shared a tweet stating that money is not his goal.
On the micro-blogging platform, Sunday, May 3, 2020, REMA tweeted in a lone post that of all the things he thinks about to achieve each day he wakes up, money isn’t on the list.

Fans and Nigerians have lashed out at him for such post saying that one of man’s most important need is money and they don’t see the reason REMA had to say money is not included.
However, Valid Updates came across a comment from a Twitter influencer identified as Samuel Mbah.
In his post, Mbah noted that REMA’s statement wasn’t his fault but as a result of the opportunity that was given to him which made him to feel all he couldn’t think about is money.
The influencer went on to blame REMA’s boss and Mavin Records CEO, Don Jazzy. Mbah had thought that if REMA wasn’t given the platform to become a popular music star, he wouldn’t have the effrontery to pick up his phone to share such post.
