It’s sometimes very easy to forget too soon, the impact one has made on the other’s life even though it always come down to getting appreciated overtime.
In Nigerian music industry, so many persons tend to forget too soon that Michael Collins Ajereh popularly known as Don Jazzy has contributed so immensely to the growth of the entertainment through his former label, Mohits and now, Mavin Records.
In a recent Twitter post, Nigerian multiple award winning rapper, Olamide Adedeji, simply known as Olamide stated that Don Jazzy’s previous label, Mohits is still the best thing that has ever happened to Nigerian entertainment industry.
Olamide noted that Don and his former artiste, D’banj showed Nigerian labels how to carry their brothers along even when their contract with the label is over.
He continued that they served the industry good music and taught them many things which some persons still don’t recognize about the music producer.
Olamide however thanked the music mogul, D’banj and rest of his team for teaching and motivating the Naija record label owners.
He wrote;
“Mo hits still one of the best thing to ever happen to NIGmusic industry. Gave us good music and thought us how to carry our brothers along. Even if they never come back together, still I say thanks to jazzy n banga n rest of the team for motivating us.”
On sighting Olamide’s post, Don Jazzy took to the reply. He reciprocated the appreciation to the rapper who according to him, he respects a lot in the industry. Don added that he’s going to frame the tweet as it means a lot to him.
