Valid Updates recalls that Nigerian popular cross dresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye better known as Bobrisky was arrested in the late night of Wednesday, May 27, 2020 in Lekki, Lagos State.
However, Nigeria Police Force confirmed the report on Thursday through public statement about the matter, giving more insights on what transpired.
According to police spokesman, DCP Frank Mba, operatives of the Inspector General Police (IG) Monitoring Unit arrested the cross dresser over alleged money issues with a lady.
Mba said: “Bobrisky was arrested in the early hours of today following a petition by a Nigerian woman that the cross dresser collected N30m from her for sales but did not keep to the end of the deal.
“Bobrisky was granted bail but the case is still an active one. It is a case under investigation.”
