The Police Command, Lagos State Nigeria has arrested Nollywood award winning actress, Funke Akindele for flaunting lockdown order by government to contain Covid-19 spread.
It could be recalled that Funke hosted a birthday party in her apartment her husband, JJC Skillz on Saturday night, April 4, 2020 which led to Nigerians calling her out on social media demanding for her arrest.
Reports reaching Valid Updates have it that her arrest was confirmed by Gawat Jubril, who is the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Lagos State governor on New Media.
However, the Lagos State Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, also confirmed that Funke Akindele has been taken to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, while an intensive hunt has been launched on her husband and other invited guests at the party.
