Nigerian actor, Yul Edochie has decided to respond to people who have been recently referring to him as stingy.
The actor’s ‘stingy status’ got to limelight when his industry colleague, Zubby Michael, recently called him “stingy and very wicked”.
Zubby alleged that the actor, Yul, refuses giving his colleagues a lift even when he’s going their way.
So owing to the hunger sparked off by Coronavirus in the country, Yul Edochie’s fans have been begging him to do giveaway for them.
But the actor rather said that celebrities do not owe their fans anything and asked them to forward their giveaway requests to the president of the country, Muhammadu Buhari.
Some fans didn’t find this funny and took to twitter to call him out for allegedly being stingy.
Chime Donald, an officer with the Nigerian Agency for National Ethics and Values Compliance couldn’t keep his cool and goes on to publicly call him stingy. “@YulEdochie you too stingy abeg.” he tweeted.
“Na your money?”, Yul quickly swipes back at him.
Nevertheless, another Twitter user, Elvisi Angelo, replied to Yul’s tweet in which he said celebrities don’t owe their fans anything in reaffirmation of his stingy status. “It still doesn’t change the fact that you are too stingy” he replied.
“Na my money. Go hustle your own”, Yul fired back.
