Nigerian music star and former Mavin Records signee, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon popularly known as Reekado Banks has cried out to Nigerian Government to please open the border for him as he’s currently stuck in Central African country, Gabon.
The Banks Music boss and songwriter stated this in a post he made on his social media pages where he shared a photograph of him smiling with location indicating as Libreville, Gabon.
Stating further in his post, Banks said his smile is very unusual though he’s currently going through a lot in Gabon as a result of lockdown and closure of Nigerian borders by government.
He wrote in an indigenous Yoruba language begging the government to please change its mind and open the border for him, “Gabon ti su mi. E ba mi shi border ejo” which translates to “I am tired of Gabon please open the border for me”.
Well, he has to stay locked down wherever he is because the mandatory 14-day lockdown order by Nigerian government is just a week left and reports have it that it might be extended if the Covid-19 cases keep escalating in the country.
