At exactly 8PM on Monday Night, the president of the Federal Republic Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, addressed the nation on the issues relating to the ongoing covid-19 inspired lockdown in the country.
In his speech, the president gave a 1 week lockdown extension and noted that the said lockdown will be doused upon completion of the 7 days.
From the speech the president gave, it is safe to say that things may return to normalcy soon, with people going about their usual business and a little ease on interstate travels.
It is in this regard that popular Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold doled out special advise to the Twitter community today following the president’s announcement.
Taking to his page on the microblogging platform, the singer advised his followers and in deed Nigerians to remember to continue social distancing with people that drain their energy even after lockdown might have been suspended.
He made this known on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 on Twitter.
Dishing out this advice, he tweeted:
“When this is all done, remember to continue social distancing from people that drain your energy”
