Nigerian music mogul, Ubi Franklin has voluntarily given up his four months salary to the Cross Rivers State government as his own contribution to help fight Coronavirus pandemic in the country and the State.
In a post made by the Cross Rivers State native on his Instagram page, Wednesday, April 8, 2020 he directly wrote to governor Benedict Ayade who he serves as a Special Adviser on Tourism, that he’s forfeiting his four months salary as a Civil Servant of the State government to help curb the menace currently affecting parts of the world including Nigeria and Cross Rivers.
Meanwhile, Cross Rivers State is yet to record any case of Covid-19 and Nigeria as at 9:00 pm WAT April 8, 2020, has confirmed through Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) the total of 276 Covid-19 cases, with 44 discharged patients and 6 deaths.
