A Magistrate court sitting in Lagos State, Nigeria on Monday, April 6, 2020 sentenced Nigerian actress Funke Akindele Bello and her husband Abdulrasheed Bello better known as JJC Skillz to 14 days community service each.
The couple were also directed by the court to pay a fine of N100,000 after they pleaded guilty to a one-count charge of hosting a gathering of 20 persons and over, contrary to the lockdown and social distancing order by the Lagos State Government to contain Covid-19 spread.

Funke and JJC Skillz were arraigned on Monday at the Samuel Ilori Courthouse of the Magistrate Court in Ogba, Lagos.
The charge against them is made pursuant to the Regulation 8(1a &b) and S 17(1) of the State’s Infectious Disease Regulation 2020.
It could be recalled that Funke’s arrest on Sunday evening, April 5 was as a result of the call out by Nigerians on social media who alleged she and the hubby have flouted government lockdown and social distancing order, after the husband, JJC Skillz shared several highlight videos of the birthday party hosted in their Lagos apartment which has singer, Naira Marley and actress, Eniola Badmus in attendance.
